Lake Como and Lake Maggiore

Lake Como and Lake Maggiore offer lakeside settings, towns and surrounding landscapes in northern Italy. Travelling between different parts of a lake can be part of the visit itself.

The lakeside towns provide different viewpoints and settings around each lake. Bellagio is associated with Lake Como, while Stresa is on Lake Maggiore. Accommodation in one lakeside town does not place every other part of the lake within a short journey.

Plan around the places you want to see, the location of accommodation and current transport options.
