Escorted tour information

An escorted tour brings a planned route and organised travel together with the support of a tour representative or guide. The balance of travel, sightseeing and free time varies between itineraries.

An escorted route can focus on one country or link several places. Historic sites, landscape visits and time in a city require different amounts of time. Comparing a route means looking beyond the headline number of days to the journeys and activities within it.

Compare the places visited, time spent travelling, accommodation locations and the level of support. Check which activities are included and which require separate arrangements with the provider.
