Albufeira

The most famous resort in the Algarve, Albufeira blends real charm with superb holiday entertainment. It's divided into two areas, each with their own distinct characteristics. There is the wonderful Old Town perched on a cliff, with cobbled streets tumbling down the hillside to the famous Fisherman's Beach. The new town, flanked by a large stretch of sandy beach, comes alive at sundown with a healthy selection of up-tempo discos and bars.
