9-Day Break

Day 1 – Local departure then onward overnight towards Porec.
Day 2 – Afternoon arrival in Porec for a 6-night stay. D
Day 3 – Porec Sightseeing (optional, included on Silver Service). Our guided walking tour takes in the main sights of the town, including the 6th-century Basilica and the old Roman ruins. B,D
Day 4 –  Postojna Caves and Lipica Stud Farm (optional). We visit the awe-inspiring caves at Postojna, where we take an underground train through magically lit halls to view the beautiful formations of stalagmites and stalactites. Then it’s onto the world-famous Lipica Stud Farm to see the white horses associated with the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. B,D
Day 5 – Brioni Islands (optional). This group of 14 islands was proclaimed a national park and memorial centre in 1984. Our visit to the area includes the national park, museum, and archaeological and ethnological collection, with ruins of a Roman settlement. B,D
Day 6 – Opatija (included). Enjoy a full-day excursion to the Opatija Riviera.  This beautiful resort is often referred to as the ‘Nice of the Adriatic’ on account of its celebrated seaside promenade, the Lungomare. B,D
Day 7 – Pula (optional). Join our excursion to Pula, with its 3000 years of history and heritage. See the stunning Roman amphitheatre, the Temple of Augustus and the Forum as well as the Franciscan monastery. B,D
Day 8 – Free time then overnight journey towards home. B
Day 9 – To Calais then return home.

14-Day Break

Days 1 to 7 – As 9-day holiday.
Days 8 to 12 – 5 extra nights in Porec. 5xB,5xD 
Day 13 – Free time then overnight journey towards home. B
Day 14 –  Journey to Calais, then return home.

Accommodation

You’ll stay for six nights at the 3-star Hotel Valamar Crystal, situated just 150 metres from the beach and approximately a 20-minute scenic walk from Porec town centre. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and an outdoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have T.V., hairdryer and telephone. Twin rooms have a balcony, whilst single rooms are without a balcony.
