9-Day Break
Saturday – Depart from one of our local joining points or take advantage of our Door to Door service* and connect to your transfer service to Dover. Here you meet your Silver Service luxury coach and fellow travellers then sail to Calais. Onwards to our overnight stop hotel in northern France.
Sunday – We travel south through France arriving this evening at our hotel in the beautiful Swiss Alps for a 3-night stay.B, D
Monday (Lucerne) - A free day or join our optional visit to the town of Lucerne with its spectacular lakeside setting and historic sights. Walk along the old town wall, across the 14th century Chapel Bridge and admire the ornate roof paintings of historical scenes. You can take an optional ride on the famous Pilatusbahn, the world’s steepest cog railway, which ascends Mount Pilatus at a gradient of 48% to a height of just under 7,000ft, from where the views are superb. Tuesday (Interlaken & Grindelwald) - A leisurely day as we drive over the scenic Brunig Pass to the ancient village of Brienz with houses dating back to the 16th century and a church to the 12th century. We continue to Interlaken, one of the oldest tourist resorts in Switzerland and still very popular today. From here we visit the glacier village of Grindelwald. Have your camera ready to capture a picture of the Eiger Mountain. B, D
Wednesday (St. Anton) - We leave after breakfast and head east across Switzerland into the Arlberg region of Austria making a stop at the winter and summer resort town of St Anton. From here we continue across the mountain pass into Bavaria arriving at our accommodation in the Oberammergau area for a two night stay. Enjoy a relaxing evening ahead of tomorrow’s spectacle. B,D
Thursday (Oberammergau) - Enjoy a relaxing morning in the environs of Oberammergau. Lunch is taken at noon before the start of the Passion Play at 2.30pm. After a break for dinner between 5pm and 8pm the Play ends at 10.30pm. Transfer back to your accommodation. B,L,D
Friday (Germany's Romantic Road) - We leave Oberammergau after breakfast and travel north through Germany along the Romantic Road calling into Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of Germany’s best preserved medieval towns. Enjoy some free time to relax before we continue to our hotel in the Mannheim area for an overnight stay. B, D
Saturday (Rudesheim & The Rhine Valley) - As we travel north to Belgium, our route takes us through the picturesque Rhine Valley. Our first call is at Rüdesheim on the banks of the river. The heart of the old town is the Drosselgasse, a narrow cobbled street with restaurants and wine taverns. As we travel north along the valley you will have the chance for a relaxing sightseeing cruise (optional) to take in the views from the river. Our overnight stay tonight is in a 4-star hotel in Belgium.B
Sunday - We travel onto Calais for our return crossing to the U.K. and then continue on our transfer service to your chosen local drop off point or if you selected our Door to Door service to your front door. B

Accommodation
You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Krone in Giswil, in the picturesque heart of Switzerland. The hotel has an attractive bar and restaurant. The reception area, restaurant, bar and some of the bedrooms are located in the main part of the hotel, whilst the majority of the accommodation is in two separate buildings 40 metres away. En route overnight stays will be with buffet breakfast in a 4-star hotel in Belgium and a city style hotel in Germany and northern France.
