Two Day Magical Aria

For those with very little time at their disposal, our Magical Aria tour to jeris, a traditional Finnish lakeside resort set in splendid isolation and offering a choice of hotel and cabin accommodation, is nevertheless of sufficient duration to provide that special feel of Lapland. The aim is to include the essential ingredients of our longer tours, yet naturally in a more confined time capsule. During your visit you will have the opportunity to skidoo, enjoy husky and reindeer rides and, of course, meet the one and only Santa Claus.

Day 1
Fly to Enontekio or Kittila and transfer to the resort of Jeris (approximately 1 hour whichever airport is used) where upon arrival you will be accommodated in your choice of cabins or hotel accommodation.
Late afternoon and evening, following the issue of your warm over-clothing and boots to protect you from the cold, join in some simple snow games - tobogganing, tug of war, children's and adults snowmobiles, and have fun in this exciting location. For those daring enough, Jeris offers a very unusual activity involving swimming in an opening created in the frozen lake, using a fully protected floatation suit which will keep you warm (adults only). You may also simply choose to recline in a warm or hot tub in an adjacent building with views across the lake. Buffet style dinner provided.

Day 2
Enjoy a substantial breakfast before leaving by snowmobiles and sleigh looking for a well-known gentleman, renowned for his kindness to children at Christmas time. A whole host of activities are planned for this morning including the use of skidoos and sleighs, huskys and reindeer, ice fishing and, naturally, an individual family meeting with Santa Claus, where there will be the opportunity to discuss those special Christmas wishes. We return to Jeris for lunch before departing back to the airport. En route, a stop for approximately 1 hour will be made to enable you to purchase souvenirs of Lapland prior to your return flight back to the United Kingdom.

Your accommodation in Jeris
Hotel rooms are best suited to 3 persons maximum, whilst there is a fine range of cabin accommodations from 2 to 6 persons. All rooms have private shower, wc and warm air dryer, whilst cabins also have a romantic log fire and sauna. Cabins are mixed in style with some having all beds at ground level and some having additional mattress beds, reached by staircase, in the eves of the cabins, which are particularly attractive to children. Meals will be taken in the hotel restaurants that are renowned locally for their standard of cuisine.

Our Two Day trip includes: Flights, Transfers, Accommodation on full board, Warm Overgarments and boots (excluding hats, scarfs, gloves, etc.), Activities as specified, entertainment as specified and presents for children aged 2-11 inclusive. Indeed, except for beverages and souvenirs  it would not be necessary for you to spend during your stay. A personal individual meeting with Father Christmas will be the highlight of all Tours.

Alternative tours will be offered should this tour be fully booked.
