7-Day Break

• Day 1 Travel from your local joining point for a Channel crossing and onward to your overnight hotel in Belgium.
• Day 2 Continue south to your hotel in the Austrian Tirol for four nights. B,D
• Day 3 Today we travel to the ‘Sound of Music’ city, Salzburg, on our full-day included excursion. The day is yours to follow in the footsteps of Mozart through this proud and glorious city. There is so much to do – enjoy looking for gifts amongst the stalls of the fantastic Christmas market, take a walk down the Getreidegasse shopping street, or sit back and relax with a warming Glühwein. B,D
• Day 4 Join us today, on a wonderful optional (included on Silver Service) excursion to Innsbruck, ‘capital of the Tirol’. Famous for its winter sports facilities, and nestled in the Inn Valley in the shadow of the Karwendel Mountains, Innsbruck has a wonderful backdrop of alpine scenery. Here, you will be able to warm yourself with a glass of mulled wine as you stroll around the two atmospheric Christmas markets and the Swarovski Crystal shop, which is turned into a Christmas grotto during the festive period. • Day 5 Another treat today – head north into Germany to experience the capital of Bavaria, Munich. Take in the atmosphere of the Christmas market in Marienplatz and warm yourself up with the tasty local sausages. The Christmas market, or Christkindlmarkt as it is known, is a tradition that dates back to the 14th century. After you have found those all-important gifts, take a seat and sample the wares in one of Munich's famous beer halls. B,D
• Day 6 Return to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
• Day 7 This morning we continue to Calais and the Channel port for our return crossing to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for four nights at the 4-star Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau. The hotel has a lift, bar, lounge area and sun terrace. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, radio, safe, hairdryer and bathrobes. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
