Days 2 & 3 Two days to spend at leisure in Nuremberg, possibly Germany’s premier Christmas city. Stroll down to the centre of the Old Town, the Altstadt, to the main Market Square, enjoying the brightly decorated stalls. The aroma of gingerbread, sweet roasted almonds, traditional local sausages and mulled wine might tempt you, as you explore the booths laden with rich, traditional handicrafts, trinkets and presents. You’ll stay for three nights at the 4-star Arvena Park Hotel on the outskirts of Nuremberg.

The U-Bahn Station is situated close to the hotel, allowing easy access into the city. Relax in the bar and restaurant, and all bedrooms are fully equipped with satellite T.V., telephone, safe, trouser press and hairdryer. After a day of sightseeing and shopping, unwind in the hotel’s sauna and steam bath.
