6-Day Break

• Day 1 Travel through the night towards Berlin.
• Day 2 Arrive this morning at your Berlin hotel for a three-night stay.
• Day 3 Spend a day at leisure, experiencing the magic of Berlin’s many splendid Christmas markets, where you can discover many traditional Christmas items and see local craftsmen presenting their products. You will also have the opportunity to join our optional sightseeing tour, which takes in the Brandenburg Gate, a section of the old Berlin Wall, and the Reichstag. B
• Day 4 A long but worthwhile full-day excursion to the historic city of Dresden, the so called ‘Florence on the Elbe’. Explore Germany's oldest Christmas market, the ‘Striezelmarkt’, which was first recorded in 1434. The market is named after Dresden's traditional Christmas fruit loaf, or ‘Striezel’. One of its unique attractions is the 14 metre Christmas pyramid with 42 wooden figurines. B
• Day 5 A day at leisure to further explore the delights of Berlin, before your evening overnight express journey home. B
• Day 6 Homeward bound with a short visit to Bruges enroute.

You will stay for three nights at the 3-star Ramada Globus, approximately 5km from the centre of Berlin. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.
