• Dec 22 or Dec 29 – Depart from your local joining point and travel to your overnight hotel in northern France.
• Dec 23 or Dec 30 – Continue south to Switzerland to your hotel in Giswil. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival. B, D
• Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve – An included full-day excursion to Lucerne. Explore the Old Town area and the lakeshore, see the old covered Chapel Bridge and perhaps join our optional private motor boat cruise on the serene waters of Lake Lucerne. B, D
• Christmas Day or New Year's Day– Enjoy an unforgettable ride aboard the Jungfrau Railway, up through alpine meadows and amidst wonderful scenery, to the Kleine Scheidegg Mountain, returning to the alpine resort of Grindelwald. B, D
• Boxing Day or Jan 2– Try an optional horse and carriage ride this morning, before an afternoon optional excursion (included on Silver Service) to the famous holiday resort of Interlaken. We also visit Brienz, where a fascinating visit to a woodcarver’s workshop is also included. B, D
• Dec 27 or Jan 3– Return north to France for an overnight stay in the Paris area. An optional ‘Paris by night’ tour will bring your holiday to a memorable end. B
• Dec 28 or Jan 4– Return to U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Hotel Krone situated in Giswil, in the picturesque heart of Switzerland. The hotel has an attractive bar, restaurant and a lift. The reception, restaurant, bar and some bedrooms are located in the main hotel, whilst the majority of the accommodation is in two separate buildings 40 metres away. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in France are in city-style hotels.
