• Dec 22 – Depart from your local joining point and travel through the night towards the Austrian Tirol.
• Dec 23 – We arrive at your hotel in the Austrian Tirol where you can enjoy welcome drink. D
• Christmas Eve – An included excursion to Salzburg, the famous ‘Sound of Music’ city and birthplace of Mozart. Explore the sights of this beautiful, historic city and why not allow yourself to be tempted into a warm café for a traditional coffee and cake. In the afternoon, remain in the city as the locals prepare for ‘Holy Night’ or join our optional excursion to the Salzkammergut Lakes. B, D
• Christmas Day – After breakfast, you head for the Kitzbühel Alps for an unforgettable included ride upon the historic Gisela Railway between Zell-am-See and Kitzbühel. The tranquil journey will take you through enchanting mountain scenery and will certainly make this a Christmas to remember. This evening, enjoy a traditional turkey dinner. B, D
• Boxing Day – A day of choices. Relax at your hotel or you can join an optional ride on the narrow gauge steam railway in the Ziller Valley, chugging along at approx. 20mph through delightful scenery from Fügen to the ski resort of Mayrhofen. During the day you might also enjoy an optional traditional horse and carriage ride through local countryside. This evening, after dinner, don’t miss the hugely entertaining optional local Tirolean evening. B, D
• Dec 27 – Join our optional excursion to Innsbruck and Rattenberg before saying goodbye to Austria this evening as your overnight journey home commences. B
• Dec 28 – Return to the U.K.

Accommodation
