• Dec 22 – Fly to Geneva Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Cully-Lausanne for a five-night stay. D
• Dec 23 – Berne Christmas Market (optional). During December, the grand Swiss capital hosts its annual Christmas market. The Old Town houses provide a great backdrop to the market, where you can relax, enjoy the food and fare, and perhaps pick up that special gift. The cost of the excursion, which must be purchased at the time of booking, is £30 per person. B,D
• Christmas Eve – Montreux Christmas Market (included). With superb views of lovely Lac Léman (Lake Geneva), we travel to the lovely city of Montreux. Stroll along the lakeside promenade and take in the relaxing and opulent atmosphere. Today is the final day of the annual Christmas market. A pleasant Advent atmosphere greets you among the decorated stalls. B, D
• Christmas Day – Vineyard Tour (included). Happy Christmas, everybody! Relax and open your presents this morning before your four-course lunch. In the afternoon, we take a tour through the Lavaux vineyard by road train before returning to our hotel for a special Swiss evening and meal with music in the hotel’s Carnotzet (wine cellar). • Boxing Day – Geneva (optional). Travelling west around Lake Geneva, we visit the cosmopolitan city of Geneva. See the famous sights, including the Reformation Monument and the most notable landmark, the fountain or Jet d’Eau. The cost of the excursion is £30 per person, and this must be purchased at the time of booking. B, D
• Dec 27 – Transfer to Geneva Airport for your flight home.

Accommodation

You’ll stay for five nights at the 3-star Comfort Hotel Intereurope, above the shores of Lake Geneva in Cully- Lausanne in the heart of the Lavaux vineyards, with views of the lake on one side and the Alps on the other.
